I don’t know a lot of the details but my understanding is that Sixpenceee used to live overseas, and there was a local child who also lived in their home, away from her (?) family and did house work for Sixpenceee’s family.

The situation may or may not have been “normal” for foreigners living in that country to just ~keep~ a local child to clean house, but it was nonetheless super fucked up and the ways in which SP tried to justify it only dug the hole deeper, until it ended up being read as her making racist excuses for her family having a child slave.
